Little Sugar Creek Greenway

One of the notable greenway projects Blythe has built is the section of Little Sugar Creek running along Kings Drive from Elizabeth Park to Metropolitan. This was one of the first greenway projects that Charlotte constructed and included creek bed improvements, a greenway trail, and numerous hardscape features including Elizabeth Park and the plaza around the Captain Jack statue commemorating the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence. This initial Little Sugar Creek Greenway segment has become an entrance to miles of trails enjoyed by thousands of runners, walkers, and bikers each day.
